BEACHES


Wasaga Beach
 Take Hwy 26 East out of Collingwood (towards Barrie).  Turn left at Mosley St.  then follow the road towards the beach.

Sunset Point Beach 
Located near downtown Collingwood, take First Street to the 2nd street East of Canadian Tore and turn Left.

Northwinds Beach
 Located at the base of Mountain Rd. Grey Rd 19 and Hwy 26.

Council Beach Located between Collingwood and Thornbury off Hwy 26 at Grey Rd. 40

Bayview Beach 
Take Hwy 26 West into Thornbury, then turn Right at the Esso station, take another right at the end of the street and you are there

Christie Beach
  
Take Hwy 26 West into Thornbury, and follow towards Meaford.  You will see signs guiding to Christie Beach, turn right.

CANOEING AND KAYAKING


There are two main canoeing routes in the Georgian Triangle -- the Beaver River and the Nottawasaga River. Paddling conditions along these rivers undergo continual change during the season, due to natural processes. Take all necessary precautions when you plan your trip and life jackets are a must! Canoeing and kayaking on Georgian Bay is a pleasurable experience.

CAVING


Explore a labyrinth of caves and crevices. Search near Ekarenniondi for the shadows which marked paths to the mysterious underworld. Explore the hidden natural fortress which sheltered the Petun people from their enemies. Descend into the ice cave - a crevasse so deep and cold that snow and ice often remain here through early summer.

Cruise by the Nottawasaga lighthouse and let your mind take you back to 1800’s as you listen to the history of the Light and its keepers.
